Lily the bunny loved her teddy bear, Barnaby.
Barnaby was soft, brown, and always there for a cuddle.
One sunny morning, Lily woke up and Barnaby was GONE!
"Oh no!" cried Lily. "Where did Barnaby go?"
Lily hopped out of bed to solve the mystery.
First, she looked under her pillow. Nope, no Barnaby.
Then, she checked inside her toy box. Empty!
"Hmm," she thought. "This is a tricky case!"
Lily's best friend, Pip the Squirrel, came to play.
"Pip! Barnaby is missing! Can you help me find him?" asked Lily.
Pip's eyes twinkled. "A mystery! I love mysteries! Let's look for clues!"
They started in the living room.
Pip spotted a small, brown fluff on the rug.
"Aha! A clue!" he chirped.
Lily examined the fluff. "It's Barnaby's fur! He must have been here!"
They followed a trail of tiny fluff to the kitchen.
In the kitchen, they saw a BIG clue: a cookie crumb next to the cookie jar!
"Barnaby loves cookies!" Lily exclaimed.
They looked up and there it was! Barnaby was sitting on top of the cookie jar!
"He was trying to sneak a cookie!" giggled Pip.
Lily hugged Barnaby tight. "Oh, Barnaby! You little cookie monster!"
Lily, Pip, and Barnaby shared a cookie and played happily ever after.
